The author argues that the Jewish community is facing an evident paradigm shift that stems from a need voiced by younger people through the Jewish world to create a different and more appropriate paradigm that meets the external challenges facing our global society, the existing trends within North American Jewry, and the desire among Israeli elites for more Jewish content in their lives. The author discusses how this is a shift from a classic Zionistic Israeli-centered paradigm towards a more people-centric paradigm to ensure that the Jewish people maintains strong links to the State of Israel. Lastly, he discusses how to implement this new paradigm, which he explains require focus in the following areas: communication, language, values, actions and structure. [Taken from BJPA.org]
